(lot of 4) Magic Lanterns, unknown makers: (1) unpainted tin with repousse lion at two sides, retractable handle at rear, the mark "K II" at top in front of chimney (Hrabalek, pg 120, similar construction; (1) unpainted tin with repousse decoration at two sides, door at left side, retractable handle, three holes at top, (Hrabalek, 145A at pg 121); (2) circular bodies with brass star or sunburst emblem, one in black, one red, both lacking lens glass, for shipping largest item approx. 12"h, 9.75"w, 4.75"d, total of all 3lbs Provenance: Collection of Sam Westfall, Texas, Kansas including a huge quantity of antique cameras, magic lanterns, related advertising and many parts and pieces.
