Co, Chelsea, Michigan, late 19th c., having a bell shape container for magnesium powder, the trigger pull opened the "bell" lid, the hammer struck a cop and ignited the magnesium, black finish, black hard rubber grips, mechanics good except lid only opens part way, approx. 5" x 1.75", .45lb Provenance: Collection of Sam Westfall, Texas, Kansas including a huge quantity of antique cameras, magic lanterns, related advertising and many parts and pieces.
