(lot of 2) Magic Lanterns: (1) Ernst Plank Standard Model Magic Lantern, c.1900, a finished black tin body, brass lens, duplex burner, curving chimney, the Plank logo at side door, housed in maker's box approx. 6.5"h, 12.25"w, 10.25"d; (1) Bing Reform model, black with gilt accents, brass finished chimney, inside lens only and lacks adjustable length lens, mounted on a wood base that opens from the rear with storage having 11 slides, housed in wood box, lacking top, with two additional slides and a kaleidoscope slide, lantern with chimney approx. 15.5"h, 8"w, 7"d, box approx. 10"h, 11.25"w, 8"d; 9.75lbs total Provenance: Collection of Sam Westfall, Texas, Kansas including a huge quantity of antique cameras, magic lanterns, related advertising and many parts and pieces.
