(lot of 2) Russian lacquered and painted papier-mache boxes, each lid depicting scenes from traditional folk tales, black lacquer ground with parcel gilt border, red lacquered interior, including: (1) "Fairy on a Mushroom," signed lower right E. Kraskov (Palekh, 20th c.), titled lower center, depicting a winged fairy among butterfly, animals, and foliate motifs, approx 1.5"h, 7.25"w, 5.5"d; (1) signed E. Vinogradova (Fedoskino, 20th c.), dated 2001, with painted scene depicting figures gathered in snowy village, over shell inlay, approx 1.5"h, 5.5"w, 4.25"d; 1.5lbs total
