Colt Model1849 Pocket Revolver, mfg. 1862, single action percussion, .31 caliber, 4" octagonal barrel marked at the top "Address Col. Sam Colt New-York USA", loading lever, six round cylinder, brass trigger guard and backstrap, serial number matched at butt, trigger guard, frame, cylinder, cylinder pin and underside of loading lever, finish overall is rough with pitting, cylinder scene obscured, hammer pull back does not always engage trigger, bore semi bright, rifling, pitting, SN 222511
