Van Karner Signal gun, marked at right "VK-12, Parachute Signal Gun, Patented", marked at left "Manufactured by Van Karner Chemical Arms Co., New York, N.Y.", left barrel stencil marked "G 7", the left grip marked "PT 8/45", the right grip marked "B803", the left barrel lug and left side of shell ejector marked "778", top break 8.1/8" barrel, 1.5" bore, 1945, mostly brass with steel hammer, finger grooved trigger at grip, lanyard ring with coiled rope lanyard, for shipping 7.5" x 12.5" x 2", 4.90lbs (181) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
