Lot description

Japanese Nambu Type 90 Three Barrel signal pistol, Second Variation, markings include serial number at right frame preceded by the identification mark of Kayaba Kogyo Mfg. Co., left frame with "Pat, No. 93006, left frame above grip with safety lever and off/on character markings, top of frame above recoil shield with Kayaba markings and Japanese Imperial Navy anchor acceptance mark, each barrel retains partial color tape markings indicating color of flare to be used in the barrel, a lever at lower front opens the 4"l barrels, 1" barrels, the frame back has lever barrel selector and cocking mechanism, steel construction with black checkered grips, lanyard ring, for shipping 8" x 8" x 2.5", 3.60lbs, serial number matched at right frame and frame well below barrels, SN 2058  (237)    *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
