German WWI Marine Signal pistol, 1914, marked at butt "ST & B 14" (Statien & Becker, Lubeck), marked "14" on shell ejector, marked "23" on frame below barrel lug, barrel opens and closes with lever under barrel front, 4.1/8" brass barrel, brass frame, wood grips, "G" on frame underside next to barrel hinge, four matched serial numbers found at frame next to trigger, on frame under right grip, and on both wood grips, scratches, scars, chip on right grip next to butt, SN 4409 for shipping 4.5" x 8" x 2", 3.0lbs, (109) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
