Lot description

Early 19th century eagle head sword, the approximate 28.25" curved blade, with 20" fuller, is partially gilt accented with engraved foliage and a quiver with arrows, both sides with pitting, the 'D' form guard is unmarked, the bone handle with squared sides, an eagle pommel retains at least half of its original gilt finish, housed in an unmarked  brass scabbard, overall approx. 36.35"l, 2.80lbs
