(lot of 5) Chinese carved hardstone figures, most affixed to wood base, amethyst and other purple stones, including: (1) Shoulao with dragon staff and peaches, beside child attendant, (1) Shoulao with dragon staff and large peach in basket, intact with some loss to raised elements and possible old restoration at base of figure, (1) koi fish among coral and scrolled waves, intact with old restoration at base, (1) Zhongli Quan, (1) Shoulao, largest: (inclusive of wood base) approx 8.25"h, 5.25"w, 3"d, smallest: inclusive of wood base) approx 4.25"h, 1.5"w, 1.25"d, 9.1lbs total Provenance: a very fine Austin, Texas estate PLEASE NOTE: All of the hardstone figures in this auction are inherently fragile.
