Mexican folk art burnished pottery vase, initialed underfoot HMM (Heron Martinez Mendoza, Puebla, Mexico, 1918-1990), having flared rim over tapered neck and disc-form body, with incised and painted geometric designs, approx 9"h, 9"diam, 2.1lbs Provenance: From the personal collection of Ruth Korn Josephs (1927-2023), founder of Pilar Fashions and Folk Art in Corpus Christi, Texas, representing her 50 year love affair with art.
