Peruvian carved wood figure, Shipibo-Conibo, possibly a shaman, with geometric pattern under the eyes and the body draped in similarly patterned textile poncho, approx 12.25"h. 5.25"w, 3.25"d, 1.1lbs Provenance: From the personal collection of Ruth Korn Josephs (1927-2023), founder of Pilar Fashions and Folk Art in Corpus Christi, Texas, representing her 50 year love affair with art. Please note: All of the pottery pieces in this auction are inherently fragile. Most are likely to have repairs, small breaks, chips, and imperfections.
