Texas Military Department sword bearing a single star on the clamshell guard, likely last half 20th c., the 28" blade marked at the right ricasso, under the clamshell guard, with the knights head of Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie, Solingen, stamped at the left ricasso "Germany," D form knuckle bow, wire wrapped handle, pear shape pommel, blade with some small knicks, the sword with a brass throat on steel scabbard having a brass draw with star decoration, overall: approx 35.75"l, 2lbs Start Price: $150.00
