(lot of 2) German Dresden lace porcelain figural lamps, Unterweissbach, mid 20th c., each having floral finial, over domed shade with lithophane cartouches revealing allegorical figures, applied floral motifs and parcel gilt accents, lamp with blue crown mark underfoot, including: (1) The Love Letter, depicting seated woman holding letter, reclining dog at her feet, having Plaue Schierholz shade, shade with 1817 crown mark to interior, lamp marked 8342 underfoot, (1) The Concert, depicting seated woman at piano, having unmarked shade, lamp marked 8345 underfoot, both with some typical small losses to lace and floral accents, overall with shade: approx 17"h, 11"diam, 12.25lbs total Please note: Dresden lace and porcelain pieces such as this are inherently fragile. Most are likely to have repairs, small breaks, chips to lace, applied flowers, and imperfections. Please assume that they are not in perfect condition and bid accordingly.
