Framed watercolor and gouache portrait miniature, Portrait of a Young Woman, signed along right side Augustin, attributed to Jean-Baptiste Jacques Augustin (French, 1759-1832), reverse with lock of hair against opalescent glass backing, low carat rose gold pendant-type frame, some loose filigree wire and visible chips at back, sight: approx 2 3/8"h, 1 7/8"w, overall: 3.25"h, 2 1/8"w Provenance: from the estate of a German antiques dealer who immigrated to the United States post World War II Start Price: $200.00
