Chinoiserie blue and gilt enameled copper necessaire or etui box, likely English, 18th/ 19th c., case decorated with gilt landscape scenes, stamped and chased metal mounts with rocaille and c-scrolls, push piece detached but present, no interior fittings remain, open interior, approx 3 3/8"h, 2 3/8"w, 2 1/8"d, 0.5lbs Note: similar examples found in the Royal Collection Trust and Musee du Louvre Provenance: from the estate of a German antiques dealer who immigrated to the United States post World War II Start Price: $150.00
