Framed inscribed barn wood planks, likely by Edward Blains (1837-1913), Media, Pennsylvania, three barn planks, with inscriptions "1861," "Union Now and Forever," "Down with Tyranny," "1st Pa Co PV" (1st Pennsylvania Regiment Volunteers), Blains served as a private, Co. A, Pennsylvania Volunteers, recruited in Chester County, Pa., mustered on June 4, 1861 for a three year enlistment, wounded at Antietam, Maryland on September 17, 1862, mustered out with his company June 13, 1864, approx 37"h, 32"w, 19.5lbs Start Price: $150.00
