British percussion pistol, early 19th c., the lockplate signed "Manton & Co., Dover St" (Joseph Manton, British, 1766-1835), approx. .50 caliber, 12.7mm, the 3.5.8" part octagonal, part round barrel marked at the top "London", the breech end with a silver band and scrolled engraving, swivel ramrod, bead front sight, dovetail rear sight, the lockplate with two line makers information, slide safety and foliate engraving, the hardwood stock with checkered butt, action is correct, bore with light rust, overall in very good condition, for shipping, 8"l, 4.5"h, .85lbs Start Price: $300.00
